Our rewards system

Credit points

In our rewards system, £1 is equivalent to 100 points.

Members get £10 (1000 points) for signing up to The OpinionPanel Community, and then typically 50 to 400 points for every survey / research opportunity they complete. We also offer rewards in the form of direct PayPal payments from time to time, but we will specify the amount and type of reward in every invite. Occasionally we offer other rewards.

We reserve the right to adjust your points credit balance upwards or downwards to reflect mistakes that might happen while issuing points credit to you from time to time.

Once members reach 2500 points, these points get subtracted from their account balances in exchange for a voucher code (this usually takes up to 3 working days to be emailed to you). The voucher code can be used to redeem a £25 voucher from a range of high street and online stores e.g. Amazon, TOP SHOP, Pizza Express and many more.

When we issue members with voucher codes, we include deadlines by which the codes must be redeemed; normally around three months. It is the responsibility of members to ensure they honour all deadlines they are provided with.

Every time a member redeems a voucher, they automatically get 1000 points towards their next voucher as a loyalty bonus!

Terms and Conditions for Prize Draws

How to enter

You will be notified of entry into a prize draw in the survey invite, or during the survey if it is entry to the screen-out prize draw.

Members have to complete the survey in order to be entered into the prize draw. Be aware that members who were invited to the survey but did  not compete it, will not be entered into the prize draw (with the exception of the screen-out prize draw, where you would have started the survey but been told you cannot complete it due to quotas being met or you not being quite right for the survey).

Panellists can only enter a prize draw once. However, in terms of the screen-out prize draw, panellists can be entered into this every month that they experience a screen-out.

Prizes

The prizes to be won will be declared within the survey invite. There will be no cash alternative to prizes. OpinionPanel Ltd reserves the right to substitute prizes for ones of equal or greater value.

Winners

Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries. OpinionPanel Ltd reserves the right to postpone the draw should the survey entry period be extended.

Notification

Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the draw. They then have 28 days from receiving the notification email to reply and accept the prize. If there is no acceptance within 28 days the winner will no longer be eligible for that prize. For all unclaimed prizes left after 28 days, a new prize draw winner will be selected. Again, this winner must reply to the notification and accept the prize within 28 days. This process continues until all prizes have been claimed.

Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for prize draw entries being mixed up or lost, for messages that don’t arrive, or issues related to computers or internet connections.

More specifically, we cannot accept legal responsibility for any problems with prize draws involving receiving entries, winners receiving or responding to notifications and similar problems. It’s also outside our control if something goes wrong with your computer while you enter a prize draw or whilst downloading information relating to a prize draw.

How to enter

How to enter each competition may be different. Instructions will be outlined where you have been notified about the giveaway (such as over email)

Entries will be considered if instructions have been followed. Only members of The OpinionPanel Community are able to enter. There will be a time period specified for entries.

Prizes

For giveaways, winners are determined either by random draw or picked based on ‘best submission’ depending on the topic. This applies to all eligible entries. OpinionPanel Ltd reserves the right to postpone the draw should the entry period be extended.

Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the draw. They then have 28 days from receiving the notification email to reply and accept the prize. Note about Freedom Day giveaway

Entries are one per OpinionPanel account. i.e. if one person comments on both Instagram and Facebook, that is one entry as they are from the same OpinionPanel account. Tag friends so they are able to enter too. Their entry will be valid as long as they also have an OpinionPanel account.

Deadline for entries is midnight Friday 23rd July 2021. Winners will be contacted via the same social media channel of their entry and asked to provide an email address for further contact and to check their OpinionPanel account status. Winners will be contacted within 14 days and will have 28 days to reply. If no reply is received, another winner will be chosen.
